Adam & Weave
Adam Crowe and Mathew Weave started their DJ business in the mid 90’s playing small gigs in their local church hall. The company founders were looking for a unique company name, identity and marketing ideas which would set them apart from their competitors.
Using the two founders names as inspiration. We created a clean, fun identity which pays homage to the company religious origins as well as a subtle nod to the founding owners partnership. A supporting strapline ‘Let Us Play…’ was also developed to run across all marketing materials.
Additional marketing materials which followed the church theme were also created, such as a bible CD booklet. This souvenir gift contained a selection of tracks the DJ’s played at wedding receptions and would be handed to the newlyweds as a keep sake.
A series of playful posters were also developed to promote the company at events and wedding fairs. These featured some of the 10 commandments and famous bible quotes, all be it with a cheeky twist. These posters were a break from the normal romantic wedding fair style which helped the company to stand out from the crowd as well as injecting personality into marketing materials.
